In this prototyping course we were tasked with creating a smart product, and using electronics to prototype it. We set out to create a smart cushion that checks your posture, and notifies the user with four stereo vibration motors if they have been in a bad posture for too long. I decided to go a step further and use a Wii balance board to track the posture of the users, and connect it to the Arduino prototype.
While the design of our product was not innovative in the slightest by today's standards, I learned a lot about prototyping with electronics and hacking existing products.
